Located on Clubhouse Drive, adjacent to the
Clubhouse and in front of the City's Public Works building is a fence, constructed
of wooden posts with a rebar framework.
The fence was designed to shield the Public Works area from view, but with an added purpose of displaying Public Art. Each segment of the fence is equipped with lighting designed to focus on the artwork displayed in that section. With a dozen plus display areas and beautiful landscaping installed by Pine Lake gardeners in the background, this area provides an attractive as well as functional Public Art venue.
The fence was completed at the end of 2017 and the first Public Works exhibit opened June 16, 2018. In August of 2018 the landscaping in front of the fence was expanded and the area has been put to an additional purpose as a Monarch Butterfly Waystation.
