Brandy Hall

Brandy is the Founder & CEO of Shades of Green Permaculture, a regenerative landscape design/build company based in Avondale Estates, GA. She is passionate about leading a purpose-driven business that creates a healthier world. Since moving to Pine Lake in 2014, Brandy has been actively involved—from volunteering on the Zoning Ordinance Committee commissioned to update the zoning codes in 2015, to serving on City Council for the subsequent 7 years. As Mayor, she brings her passion for sound fiscal, organizational, and environmental stewardship to serve her small, but mighty community.

Jean Bordeaux

Jean Bordeaux moved to Pine Lake from Decatur in 2010 with her partner, Gayle. Both had recently retired and were looking for a friendly community where they could enjoy all that “free time”. Having become familiar with the Architectural Review Board while doing a renovation on their house, Jean became a member of the Board in early 2011 and served as Chair from late 2012 until the end of 2014 at which time the ARB was disbanded.

Prior to retirement, Jean worked over thirty years in various financial positions including Controller and Audit Manager for a Fortune 50 company and Financial Reporting Manager for a mid-size Software Company. During her first term in Council she drew from her financial and administrative experience to analyze the city's budget, create and study various annexation scenarios and to lead the committee that launched the new Website in early 2018.

Augusta Woods

Augusta Woods moved from Michigan to Georgia more than 20 years ago and has lived in Pine Lake for 5 years with her husband Dwight. She has two children a son and a daughter (and son in law) and two step daughters. She has served on the Pine Lake Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee and attends Pine Lake Baptist Church. Over the years, she has had a number of jobs from working at a non-profit as Coordinator of Harvest Home, a transitional home for single mothers to Retail Manager and Co-Owner of New Life Wardrobe Services, an image consulting company teaching people the art of putting on a professional image. Augusta served on the Saginaw City Planning commission in Michigan. She is currently semi-retired and working part time as an independent contractor for Glacier’s Industrial Supplies Company.

Jeff Goldberg

Jeff has called Pine Lake home since 1996. His involvement in the community began many years ago when he was appointed to serve on the Pine Lake Human Relations Committee. He has also chaired the Pine Lake Environmental and Stewardship Committee (PLEAS), and Pine Lake Tree Board. Jeff owns Live & Learn Consulting LLC, where he creates, designs, manages, and delivers experiential training experiences focused on Leadership and Team Development. He collaborates with colleges, universities, not-for-profit, and for-profit organizations. Additionally, Jeff has been working with the North Carolina Outward Bound School since 1990.  Jeff also worked as a trainer for the Anti-Defamation League for over 20 years.

In his spare time, Jeff volunteers with Camp Sunshine which is a year-round program supporting kids with cancer and their families.  Jeff has been involved with Camp Sunshine since 1988 and still volunteers at a week-long summer camp and many weekend programs. Jeff enjoys gardening and making art out of found objects, many of which end up in his yard.

Thomas Torrent

Thomas has served on the Pine Lake City Council since January of 2024.

Tom Ramsey

Tom moved to Pine Lake in 2017, and he has been actively engaged in the community ever since. Serving as a volunteer and board member for the Pine Lake Association of Involved Neighbors, provided Tom with the opportunity to connect with neighbors and city officials to help make things happen for our community. He has two daughters and three granddaughters, all living in Metro Atlanta.
Tom brings 45 years of executive management experience to his role as Council Member. After a successful career in the filtration industry, Tom current stays engaged as a Board Member for ECS Environmental Solutions, and as a Consultant for Clarity Corporate Growth. In his spare time, Tom is a founding member of the Driveway Ramblers, a local ukulele band, an avid photographer, loves walking around our park and wetlands, and likes to travel, especially to our National Parks.
