Neighborhood Watch

The Pine Lake Neighborhood Watch is neighbors watching out for each other for the common good. We will meet as needed to bring you up to date on what has been happening in our city.

Our mission is to maintain and enhance a safe and secure Pine Lake and keep us ranked as one of the safest places to live in Georgia. Pine Lake Neighborhood Watch acts as a liaison and communication channel between the citizens and the Pine Lake Police department and assists with the dissemination of important information via Chief Sarai Y’hudah-Green.

For day to day questions, please join our Facebook group. If your public profile doesn’t show that you live in Pine Lake, send a note with the request, telling us your connection to PL – we try to keep the Neighborhood Watch page for residents only.

If you see anything or anyone out of the ordinary, or that you feel just isn’t right, first phone 911. Then check the Neighborhood Watch Facebook group page to ensure that our neighbors are informed. We, the citizens of Pine Lake, need to watch out for each other. Pine Lake is a safe city and we would like it to stay that way.

The Pine Lake Police use an alert program called NIXLE.

This program is FREE. It enables Pine Lake Police Department to communicate and stay in touch with its residents in real-time via SMS (text) messaging.

To receive text alerts from Pine Lake police, Text PINELAKE (in all caps) to 888777.

To view previous alerts, go to NIXLE and input our 30072 zip code.

Take care and see you at the Lake.

Respectfully,
Matt Pulsts and the Neighborhood Watch Team
