The MAP: charting our city's creative future
MISSION STATEMENT
We believe the arts are essential to the life of the Pine Lake community and the municipality as a whole.
The Municipal Arts Panel is dedicated to raising the stature of Pine Lake as an arts-identified city. The MAP will create economic, education, and community development opportunities through programming, performances, and events and attract opportunities for the appreciation and availability of the arts in the city. In addition, The MAP will foster diversity, creativity, and excellence of the arts within our municipality and surrounding cities, counties, and statewide.
We do this by:
- Building an events roster
- Focusing on arts-first municipal branding
- Enhancing arts as an economic building block
- Creating external partnerships
- Providing a grant conduit for city artists and arts projects
