Dekalb County Sanitation services start on WEDNESDAY next week.
You
should have received your green trash roll cart by now. The recycling service
is opt-in. Dekalb will have recycling bin roll carts for pickup at the beach
house on Saturday December 1 at the pancake breakfast. They'll be out about 7am
if you want to do an early pickup.
If you’re one of the 100+ who has already signed up for the regular or the larger roll cart online, your cart will be waiting for you at the beach house. If you haven’t yet signed up, you can complete the enrollment online or on paper and bring it to the beach house to pick up your roll cart.
There
will be a limited number of the larger roll carts available. These are an
upgrade in size from the standard ones, and there is a $15 one-time fee for
these. You can pay on Saturday via check or cash. If you already paid for the
upgraded cart, please bring your confirmation number with you Saturday.
If
you are unable to pick up your roll cart on Saturday, Dekalb Sanitation will
offer delivery within 1-2 weeks.
